Rocklin is next door: ten minutes from our Roseville shop up Sunset Boulevard. Stanford Ranch and Whitney Oaks homes from the 1990s are on their second air conditioner, Whitney Ranch is newer, and old Rocklin near Pacific Street has some of the oldest houses in Placer County. Stanford Ranch and Whitney Oaks were built through the 1990s and early 2000s, so their original systems were replaced around 2015 and those replacements are now hitting the capacitor-and-fan-motor years. Whitney Ranch and the newer tracts off Whitney Ranch Parkway are on their first systems, often undersized by the builder. Old Rocklin, near Pacific Street, Rocklin Road and the granite quarries at Quarry Park, has 1920s to 1960s homes with ducts added later.
