Bronco spent years based on Mapel Lane in Carmichael before moving the shop to Roseville, so many of the homes we service between Fair Oaks Boulevard and the American River are ones we already know. AC repair, heating repair, new Amana systems and $14.49-a-month tune-ups, from a family team licensed since 2007. Call 916-675-1062.
Most of Carmichael was built between the 1950s and the 1970s: single-story ranch homes off Fair Oaks Boulevard, Winding Way and Marconi Avenue, with the furnace and air handler in the attic or a hall closet and ductwork that has been patched more than once. Many of these houses are on their third or fourth air conditioner, and the ducts and returns were never resized for it.
That matters when the system runs all afternoon in August and the back bedrooms still do not cool. Half the time the equipment is fine and the ducts, the return or the airflow are the problem. We check the whole system before we recommend anything, and we tell you the price and the reason before work starts. If the right answer is a duct repair and not a new unit, that is what we say. Nearby, we also serve Sacramento and Fair Oaks, and every city we cover is on our service areas page.
Owner Phillip Olmstead still runs jobs with his son Maxwell and installer Kevin Shpyrka. Jenn Fiechter answers the phone at the Roseville office, Monday to Friday, 8am to 5pm.
Every service has its own page with what is included and what is not. Mini-splits and water heaters are installation and replacement only; we do not take repair calls on them. Regular tune-ups are covered by our maintenance plan.

Yes. Carmichael is our second priority service area after Sacramento. The shop moved to Roseville, about 20 minutes away, and the same team runs the Carmichael jobs.
Not necessarily. In Carmichael ranch homes that is often a duct or return problem, not the equipment. We test airflow and static pressure first. If the unit is sound, you get a duct repair price, not a replacement pitch.
Yes. Carmichael is unincorporated, so Sacramento County issues the mechanical permit and does the inspection. We file it.
No. We install and replace both, but we do not take repair or service calls on them. Central air, furnaces and heat pumps are what we repair.
